At least annually, all salaries are reviewed for competitiveness with other facilities similar to ours. If appropriate, an adjustment will be made to provide you with a base salary that is competitive with that of other like facilities.
If you are an employee and refer an applicant for a job, if we hire that person, you may be eligible to receive a referral bonus when he or she completes at least 6 months of service and a second bonus on their one year anniversary. Certain restrictions apply and bonus amounts may vary depending on the status of the referred employee.
Second and Third Shift Differentials
The following shift differentials are available to eligible employees:
Second Shift (2:30 PM -- 11:00 PM)
Nursing Center employees $1.00 / hour
Non-Nursing Center employees $ .50 / hour
Third Shift (10:30 PM -- 7:00 AM)
All employees $ .25 / hour
Paid Time Off
Vacation and sick time is available to full-time employees. Sick time is available for use after 6 months of employment, vacation after one year of employment.
- 10 Vacation Days (Non-exempt employess)
- 15 Vacation Days (Exempt employees)
- 6 Sick Days (Non-exempt employees)
- 12 Sick Days (Exempt employees)
- 7 Legal Holidays are available upon hire
You may accrue up to 60 sick days. We do encourage you to save your sick days in the event of an unexpected illness.
Health, Dental &Vision Insurances
Full-time and part-time employees are eligible to enroll in these insurances after they have completed at least 90 calendar days of employment. There are certain restrictions that determine when an employee may enroll or cancel insurances, and all employees are required to make a bi-weekly payroll contribution to participate.
Life, Accidental Death and Long Term Disability Insurances
Full-time employees receive 2 times their base salary in life and accidental death insurances. Full time employees also have long term disability insurance.
A variety of insurance payable through payroll deduction such as disability, cancer and long term care are also available.
All full-time and part-time employees are eligible to enroll in our pension plan, providing you have completed at least 1 year of service and are at least 21 years of age. This is a voluntary plan that requires a contribution from you. If you contribute a minimum of 3% of your base earnings, Asbury will contribute 6% of your base earnings -- that's double your contribution!
All full-time and part-time employees are eligible to receive tuition reimbursement after 1 year of service as follows:
Full-time Employees $5,000 / Year
Part-time Employees $2,500 / Year
Personal Leave of Absence
If you are a full-time or part-time employee and need to take time off (without pay) due to personal reasons, you may be able to apply for a Personal Leave of Absence. You must complete at least 1 year of service to apply for a Personal Leave of Absence.
Family Medical Leave
All employees who work a minimum of 1,250 hours during the 12 months of proceeding the start of the requested leave of absence, and who have completed a minimum of 1 year of employment, may be eligible to apply for a Family Medical Leave of Absence. Family medical leave may be taken for a number of reasons and requires a doctor's certification.
In the event you are summoned for jury duty or as a witness, we provide compensatory pay (less any pay you receive from the court) for full-time and part-time employees for any scheduled day you may miss due to the summons.
If you are a full-time employee and need to take time off as a result of a death in your immediate family, you may be eligible to receive up to 3 days bereavement pay.
Employee Assistance Program
We recognize that many issues can have an affect on an employee and that not all issues that affect an employee's work performance are work related. We feel that most issues can be resolved if they are recognized early and given appropriate attention. To better assist you in resolving any work or non-work related issues, we provide access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with no cost to you.

All employees are eligible to enroll in direct deposit and join our credit union.
