Asbury Place
Asbury Place is a secure, personal care facility designed to meet the complex needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments. Located on the Asbury Heights campus, Asbury Place was designed with the special needs of our residents in mind. Asbury Place maintains an open campus with open visitation so family members and friends of our residents can be involved in their loved one's care.
At Asbury Place, we pride ourselves on treating residents with the respect and dignity they deserve. Specially trained health care workers create individualized care plans for residents based on the needs and abilities of each resident. Some residents enjoy gardening with staff while others participate in activities with children from a nearby elementary school.
All residents of Asbury Place have access to the continuum of care of Asbury Heights. In addition, residents have access to such amenities as:
- a beauty/barber shop
- off-campus outings
- non-denominational church services
- pet therapy
- arts and crafts and more
To help manage the unique medical needs of Asbury Place residents, numerous physicians and other health care providers offer office hours on site. When residents need temporary or long-term medical care, they can transfer to The Willow Community, a skilled nursing center on the Asbury Heights campus that offers medical care in a specialized environment for those with cognitive disorders.
